Nightmare Mode

General

Nightmare Mode is a relatively simple datapack that aims to expand past Minecraft's currently hardest difficulty. The datapack does a variety of things to achieve this, most of their mobs have had their HP, attack damage, knockback resistance, and movement speed increased. Lots of different mobs can also spawn with a myriad of different armor and weapons, all with random enchantments. If you die early on in your first playthrough, don't worry, this datapack is immensely difficult!

Mobs

Almost all changes brought by Nightmare Mode lie within the mobs. Understanding what mobs have been changed, and how they have been changed is crucial to effective survival.

The Zombie is very similar to the normal zombie, but it has some very noticable changes. His health, knockback resistance, damage, and movement speed have all been increased. All Zombies also have a chance to spawn with various armor and weapon combinations. All of the gear they spawn with has a chance to be enchanted with a random enchatment. Zombies can also spawn as babies, keep that in mind.
